Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Remembers Jim Morrison

Jim Morrison would have celebrated his 70th birthday on December 8th. However, the Lizard King remains a member of the ’27 Club’ with Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Brian Jones, Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse, Alan Wilson and more.

The Doors frontman passed away on July 3, 1971, but his legacy and impact grows stronger decades later.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame features several items from Mr. Mojo Risin’.  Among them are his high school diploma, baptism certificate, his first poem titled “The Pony Express, cub scout uniform, lyrics, Last Will and Testament, and Report on the Death of an American Citizen.
